The telecom companies have chosen to introduce significant price increases on all networks in Denmark.

When you send SMS messages through a Compaya system (CPSMS.DK/SMS1919) or via our API, the SMS traffic is distributed through a telecom company to reach the right recipient. Telcos are therefore a necessary intermediary in this traffic, and SMS prices on the Danish market are thus controlled by the telcos.

After many years without price increases, the four major Danish telecom companies with their own network (TDC Group, Telenor, Telia and 3 Denmark) have now decided to significantly increase their SMS prices in Denmark, effective July 1, 2021. We have no influence on this decision and the price increase will affect the entire SMS industry and will therefore affect all providers of SMS traffic in Denmark.
